Notes:

Production figures are for 1937 and are in millions of tons. National figures are percentages of world totals. Chinese production of foodstuffs is unknown and ignored for percentage calculations.
All ores are metal content.
# Greater Germany includes Austria and Czechoslovakia.
@ Japanese Empire includes Korea, Formosa, Manchuko and Kwantung.
Spanish iron ore production was only half of its wartime average, probably due to disruptions from the Spanish Civil War. Spanish production of tungsten ore (wolfram) skyrocketed during the war as both sides tried to monopolize it. Finland had significant reserves of Nickel at Petsamo, but I have been unable to locate any production figures.

Ellis, John. World War II: A Statistical Survey
Data for Poland, Finland, Spain, Portugal is from Mitchell. International Historical Abstracts Europe 1750-1988. Totals may not equal 100% as I'm unsure of the source of Ellis's figures and they seem to differ from those in Mitchell. However all new data was calculated from Ellis's totals.
